Spirit Art? Psychic Art? What is the difference?

leavesThere has been much debate of late within the movement as what can be called Spirit art and what can be called Psychic art.

Generally speaking when the medium draws a Spirit Portrait of a discarnate Spirit or deceased person and that portrait is recognised by a recipient, then it must be classified as Spirit art, as the information is comming from some other source other than the recipient. It can only be coming from the Spirit World. It must be stressed that a psychic cannot give you details of a spirit person, they can be exceptional at describing everything that has happened in your life, as this is all printed in your Aura, but only a Medium and give you a Spirit link, and prove survial of the Spirit after physical death.

Psychic art, is when the psychic is able to tune into your aura and draw symbolicaly the colours and symbols around you. But leavesas most of my auragraphs are done while I am alone working in my art room, then I wonder if perhaps Spirit do not have some sort of hand in this work. Maybe I tune into the Universal consciouness to receive instructions on what I am to draw? who knows.

There is also the wonderful field of Spirit Inspired Art. Something which I am keen to explore. It involves linking into the divine source in meditation and trying to recreate what I "see". I have done an example below. Sometimes these visions can be profound and almost shamanistic.

leavesAt present I am working with a friend, who is studying The Ascended Masters. While this is not really in the field of an SNU Medium, I feel that we should look at all avenues with an open mind. My friend states she has received instruction, that I Diane, am to produce a portrait of Mary Magdalen. I am at present working on this project and will publish the finished portrait on this site when it is finished.

It is hoped that you will all be the judge of the result. Hopefully you will be able to resonate with the picture and receive inspiration.
